About NARO
The National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) is mandated to coordinate, oversee and guide agricultural research in Uganda. The organisation is made up of a Council as its governing Body, a Secretariat for its daily operations, and 16 Public Agricultural Research Institutes (PARIS) under its policy guidance.
Job Summary
To plan, design, conduct research and present findings on respective field for enhanced and sustainable agricultural production.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture (crop science option) plus a Master’s Degree in Soil Science or Crop Science with a bias in Agronomy.
- Minimum of three years demonstrated working experience in a related field.
- Proven record of publications in referred journals is an added advantage.
- Possession of a PhD is an added advantage.
- Age Limit: Not more than 40 years.
