Yalelo (U) Limited is a tilapia fish farm established in Uganda in 2019, located in Butembe, Buikwe district on Lake Victoria. A subsidiary of Dutch-owned First Wave Group B.V, it operates alongside Yalelo Zambia—one of Africa’s largest aquaculture farms.
Job Summary
To achieve sales goals, maximize revenue, and lead Outlet Supervisors in a designated area—driving customer acquisition, satisfaction, and market share expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution
- Optimize sales volumes, pricing, and minimize product losses.
- Lead sales teams across outlets and executives in the assigned area.
- Ensure smooth Point of Sale processes and customer purchasing experience.
- Manage demand planning, product allocation, and new customer acquisition.
- Expand Sales outlet footprint and Reseller channel.
Customer Relationship Management
- Act on customer feedback to build loyalty and resolve disputes.
- Monitor purchasing trends and support customer business growth.
- Design customer experience models for YU stores and trade channels.
Strategy Development
- Advise Head of Sales on pricing, channels, and marketing strategies.
- Share market insights on trends, competition, and consumer preferences.
Team Management
- Collaborate with Finance, Logistics, HR, and Marketing teams.
- Co-lead recruitment, performance management, and training programs.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years in FMCG sales management (3+ years supervisory).
- Corporate/multinational experience; strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software; Kiswahili/French is a plus.
