Yalelo (U) Limited is a tilapia fish farm established in Uganda in 2019, located in Butembe, Buikwe district. A subsidiary of First Wave Group B.V (Netherlands), it operates alongside Yalelo Zambia, one of Africa’s largest aquaculture farms.
Job Summary
The Shop Assistant ensures precision in stock handling, customer service, and sales operations while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth initiatives and excellent customer service.
- Manage stock receipt, inventory, and quality checks.
- Process customer orders via POS and handle cash reconciliations.
- Maintain hygiene standards and enforce safety protocols.
- Conduct equipment inspections and submit operational reports.
Key Result Areas
- Achieving monthly sales targets.
- Zero major safety incidents.
- Adherence to hygiene and product quality guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in Business Administration or related field.
- Credit in Mathematics (UCE) and Principal Pass in Economics/Entrepreneurship (UACE).
- 2 years’ experience in fish handling (advantageous).
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
