Yalelo (U) Limited is a tilapia fish farm established in Uganda in 2019, located in Butembe, Buikwe district. A subsidiary of First Wave Group B.V (Netherlands), it operates among Africa’s largest aquaculture farms.
Job Summary
The Shop Supervisor oversees daily shop operations, enhances customer satisfaction, meets sales/profitability goals, and manages staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales targets through brand awareness and customer experience.
- Train and motivate staff to meet sales objectives.
- Process payments via POS system and handle cash register functions.
- Ensure proper fish handling, storage, and compliance with food safety standards.
- Develop customer relationships and resolve complaints proactively.
- Maintain inventory levels and place new orders.
- Prepare reports on sales trends and shop performance.
- Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations and statutory policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 4+ years’ retail experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Adaptability in multicultural environments.
