Job Summary ⇒ We are seeking to recruit a General Maintenance Technician
with a strong background in advanced battery cage systems installation,
maintenance. As we embark on our next expansion phase, we are seeking to
recruit a General Maintenance Technician with a strong background in advanced
battery cage systems installation, maintenance, elementary plumbing and simple
electrical installations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
⇗ To carryout general maintenance and repairs of all the farm machinery and
equipment.
⇗ Provide guidance to casual labours on how to handle farm machinery in a way
that minimises wear and tear.
⇗ Carry out elementary plumbing like simple water installations, repairing
pipe leakages etc.
⇗ Supervise farm activities run by machines for example feed mixing using the
feed mixer and hummer mill, waste cleaning using manure scrapper and manure
belts, automatic feeding using feed chains.
⇗ Carry out simple electric installations like light replacements and
installations, loose wire fixing, operating electrical Machines.
⇗ Perform any other duties within the scope of the position, which from time
to time may be delegated by the General Manager or Production Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The ideal candidate should preferably hold a diploma or certificate in
Mechanical Installations or any related field from a recognised institute.
⇗ At least three years of related professional experience
⇗ Excellent work diligence, commitment and being able to finish given tasks
on time.
⇗ Excellent people skills and emotional intelligence, able to work with a
wide range of people from different backgrounds;
⇗ Willingness to move to Nakaseke and travel regularly at short notice
