Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. It began flying in August 2019.
 
Job Summary The cabin groomer is responsible for the cleaning of Aircraft cabins of Uganda Airlines after each flight.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
Wiping down all surface like seats, tray tables.
Cleaning the inside of sear pockets.
Vacuuming floors around the seats and aisles.
Collecting all the trash in the cabin.
Clearing all trash cans.
Cleaning and brushing the lavatories meticulously.
Spraying air freshener.
Being courteous to passengers in transit.
Maintain very good personal hygiene.
Safe custody of any valuable items that maybe left behind by a passenger.
Maintaining a safe environment.
Clearing the aisles for easy movement.
Re-stocking the seat pockets with inflight magazines or promotional items.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The ideal applicant must hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent.
Certificate or a Diploma holder with experience in cleaning services
Knowledge in the use of cleaning chemicals
General knowledge in Airside Safety, Airside Driving and DGR.
Fluent in both oral and written English.
Good work speed
Flexible
Organizational skills
