Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in scheduling grant proposal evaluations, following CRAFT grants cycle
Support the grants unit in recording minutes for the Investment Advisory Committee evaluation meetings
Provide day to day support to the country Project teams in the management of the expanded CIIF/MIS system.
Support and maintain updated filing processes and data bases for the project’s grant’s portfolio. He/she will maintain updated grants les in an organized manner, using CRAFT’s grant le checklist, and uploaded on the SNV SharePoint.
Maintain an updated CRAFT grants tracker and grants log
Coordinate and support grant administrative tasks that include timely report reviews, payments, grant award modifications, close out etc.
In collaboration with the Grants & CIIF Fund Manager, track grantee/SAF expenditures against budgets and deliverables against agreements/ contracts.
Organize the official grant files for year-end audits.
Where applicable, assist in ensuring compliance to Donor regulations and award requirements.
Any other duties within the scope of the responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/commerce
Intermediate /advanced knowledge of MS Office Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel.
Ability to act and communicate with a high level of sensitivity as well as analytical skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Previous experience with grants administration is an added advantage
NB The internship is originally planned for a period of 6 months from August 2021 to January 31, 2022. Extension is possible for individual cases depending on performance and project need.
