Job Summary ⇒ We are looking for an efficient, courteous Cashier who
possesses excellent customer service skills. The Cashier will scan the
customer’s selections, ensure that prices and quantities of drugs, and
maintain a clean workspace.

To succeed as a Cashier, you should have a strong work ethic and high level of
accuracy. You should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and
committed to providing excellent service. Have to be accurate, accept
payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to
hospital services, and you will also respond to patient complaints

Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
Cashier Requirements:
⇗ Receiving and maintains a daily cash reconciliation recap; reports any
discrepancy to the finance management cash at hand not tallying with receipts
⇗ follow-up receipts that are not clearly marked for posting
⇗ Ensure bank deposits are made every day
⇗ maintain petty cash drawer, receipts and balances daily
⇗ coordinate with accounting department in daily and monthly balancing of
accounts receivable to the general ledger.
⇗ Billing of clients
⇗ do follow-up on cash payment patients before and after procedures are done
⇗ Enter insurance bills in the system
⇗ summaries of receipts and payment and make a report on source of income in
their respective categories e.g. cash from consultation, laboratory, scan &
procedures
⇗ Perform duties as may be requested by the finance manager.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
⇗ The ideal candidate must hold a Degree in finance or accounting from a
recognized institution
⇗ Customer service or Cashier experience.
⇗ Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
⇗ High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
⇗ Attention to detail while recording transaction
⇗ Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
