Job Summary ⇒ The research officer is responsible with ensuring accurate
and timely upload of the information in the online system. He or she must have
an excellent understanding of the study protocol and strong attention to
detail.

Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ To participate in ongoing mobilization, participant recruitment and
sensitization about the research activities within the study communities.
⇗ Provide training and continuous mentorship to the study participants on the
use of the online database.
⇗ To work with the facility coordinators and ensure timely upload of
information into the online system
⇗ To maintain regular contact with the team leader and update him/her on what
is transpiring in the study communities.
⇗ Provide technical support to the study participants on accessing and
filling of the data collection form
⇗ Compile and submit progress reports to the research manager at the required
intervals.
⇗ Ensure timely implementation of project activities and accountabilities.
⇗ Ensure that the project is implemented within budget and timelines.
⇗ Ensure timely provision of logistics to the different study participants
⇗ Participate in facility and community coordination committee meetings
⇗ To attend to any other duties as assigned by the research manager from time
to time.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicant must hold a Bachelors' degree in Information Technology,
Statistics, Social sciences
⇗ At least two years of experience in study research; experience in using
online systems/databases is an added advantage.
⇗ Excellent computer skills,
⇗ Organized with excellent attention to detail.
