Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Preparing all Balance sheet reconciliations accurately and timeously on a
monthly basis.
⇗ Preparing and submitting the weekly and monthly reports to senior
management.
⇗ Liaising with the head office South Africa support teams about the in-
country processes and updates.
⇗ Maintaining regular and adhoc suppliers' records and ensuring the entire
procurement chain process is executed accurately and timeously.
⇗ Filing monthly VAT, PAYE, WHT and NSSF Returns and ensuring compliance with
the country tax laws and identifying any developments to be incorporated.
⇗ Managing the staff pay-roll and staff records.
⇗ Directly supervising the finance team members and ensuring all internal
control processes are fully adhered to.
⇗ Offering administrative support to the overall business unit.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration or Commerce, majoring in Finance or Accounts.
⇗ Five years of work experience in finance management, accountancy or
auditing preferably in an international organization based in Uganda.
⇗ Excellent communication, people management and interpersonal skills.
⇗ Quick learning ability and flexible character.
⇗ Ability to multitask and work long hours.
⇗ High level of integrity, self-motivation and time management.
