statements, for the year ending 31st December, 2020. Teach A Man To Fish is a

General information about Teach A Man To Fish Teach A Man To Fish was
incorporated in the UK in 2005 and granted NGO license to operate in Uganda on
July 15, 2016. Teach A Man To Fish in Uganda is part of a global entity, and
is controlled by the Teach A Man To Fish UK as its branch. Teach A Man To Fish
is registered as an NGO operating in the entrepreneurship education sector in
Uganda. Through the national level School Enterprise Challenge Programme,
Teach A Man To Fish supports schools at primary, secondary and vocational
level to plan, set up and manage educational and profitable school businesses.
Teach A Man To Fish is guided by a simple, all-encompassing mission to
empower young people with the skills they need to succeed, in school, work,
and life. We focus on developing and emerging countries. This is done through
supporting schools to set up educational and profitable school businesses that
provide real-life hands-on training and experience for students. This empowers
student entrepreneurs with critical workplace, entrepreneurship and life
skills and mindsets so that they can leave school with the competencies to get
a good job or run their own successful business. We are a small organization
with big reach - Since 2006, we've created over 300,000 student entrepreneurs
and 18,000 enterprising teachers through our global programmes. Teach A Man To
Fish delivers the world's largest, global awards programme for school-based
enterprise the School Enterprise Challenge. This annual programme supports
teams of students, guided by a teacher to plan, set up and manage real school
businesses. The business functions as a learning platform, supporting students
to develop their soft skills and business knowledge, whilst at the same time
generating additional income for the school. In 2020, Teach A Man To Fish
adapted the model to an out-of-school youth setting for the first time and is
currently rolling out the Youth Enterprise Challenge programme with young
farmers and refugees in Uganda. The Tender The Board of Trustees invites
tenders from suitably qualified and competent registered auditors with a high
level of knowledge and understanding of the NGO sector and accounts, to
conduct an audit of annual financial statement for the period ending 31st
December 2020. Tender information required Teach A Man To Fish is inviting
your firm to tender for this work, and to include the following information in
tender
1. Firm details
Structure, size, capacity and expertise in the sector.
2. NGO clients
A general description of the firm's NGO clients sectors of operation, size,
etc. and two contacts from whom references may be sought should the trustees
choose your firm.
3. Staff details
Staff details including information relating to the partner and manager who
will be assigned to the audit, including details of relevant skills and
qualifications.
4. Audit approach
How the firm will;
⇗ Liaise with Trustees and staff member before, during and after the audit
⇗ Identify and respond to critical audit issues;
⇗ Ensure appropriate responsibility for decisions on the audit;
⇗ Degree of year-round support and advice offered to the client if any.
The firms should highlight the proposed timeline for carrying out the
engagement.
5. Fees
A breakdown of the proposed fees, including estimates to cover the following
-
⇗ Advice and assistance directly related to the external audit
⇗ An analysis of hours by grade of staff that will be involved on the audit together with details of hourly charge out rates
⇗ The proposed billing schedule
