Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
 
Job Summary  The Accountant-Payables will be responsible for review of payments and provision of high-quality financial information consistent with PEPFAR policies, procedures, applicable to the laws and standards of financial management and meet the interests of all the project’s stakeholders.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree Accounting OR BBA Accounting plus full professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA.
At least five years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Auditing field, 2 of which are in middle management positions.
S/he must have demonstrable knowledge of donor financial accounting procedures multi donor reporting and clear understanding of GoU and IAS/AFRS accounting requirements.
Hands-on-computer skills in MS Word and at least two accounting packages including QuickBooks are a requirement for this job.
