MTN-Uganda is the leading telecommunications Company in Uganda, providing payphone, fixed lines, fax/data, internet and mobile services.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
Facilitate performance monitoring of MTNs Core nodes, by producing and interpreting performance reports.
Timeously recommend capacity upgrades and reallocations based on Traffic, technologies in the market, customer requirements and MTN Uganda’s business plans.
Take on the role of Technical lead for CS Core projects participating in design, implementation, acceptance and handover.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate for the MTN-Uganda Engineer CS Core Network Planning job placement should hold a BSc Electrical Engineering / BSc Telecommunications Engineering
Additional qualification e.g. Masters/Postgraduate diploma etc are an added advantage
One year of experience in a Telecommunications Network planning role
Proficiency in the use of Windows and productivity packages MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Projects
Individual should be innovative, results-oriented and able to work long hours under pressure
Willing to learn and unlearn concepts in CS Core systems
Innovative
Team player
Good analytical skills
Self-motivated
Problem solving skills
Good communication skills
