Ecobank Uganda Limited is the leading commercial bank offering wholesale, retail, transaction banking services and products to individuals, governments, financial institutions, multinationals, international organizations, medium and small enterprises.
Job Summary Responsible for the effective management of branch control environment and the supervision of staff at the Branch.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Branch in achieving its Business and Customer growth targets.
Supporting the Bank in achieving the digital strategy.
Ensure that all Branch activities are executed in full compliance with the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
Supervision of the Branch staff, that is, Tellers and Customer Service Officer.
Responsible for transfers, sending and receiving transactions salaries, payment orders, and any other transactions.
Reconciliation of internal accounts.
Verification of vouchers and recording in appropriate registers.
Responsible for the Branch store and ensuring that the Branch has adequate supply of all logistics required for efficient running.
Any other duties as may be delegated by the Branch Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
At least three years’ working experience in Banking.
Good knowledge of the Bank’s products and services.
A good understanding of the Bank’s general policies and procedures.
Sound written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
