Job Summary
To design, test, implement and support the Operating Systems key function.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the operation health and stability of the infrastructure;
- Maintaining and supporting Active Directory, Exchange and any other servers;
- Monitoring and mitigating risk and proactively provide solutions, including the risk and benefit analysis;
- Providing backup and restore all or parts of the system and monitoring system performance;
- Configuring Network User Resources and establish and maintain network connectivity;
- Carrying out startup and shutdown procedures;
- Demonstrating and sharing domain expertise to the institution;
- Identifying gaps in current processes, update and maintain the process documentation;
- Administering user accounts, permissions, access rights providing on call support to end-users;
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education
- An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Information Science/System, or Library or Information Science/ Bachelor of Science in Statistic Mathematics/Physics/Electrical/Electronic or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Systems and Technology and any other ICT related programs from recognized University/Institution;
- A professional certificate in the relevant discipline.
