Job Summary
To develop and maintain reusable and secure insights and data analytics solutions that can serve the business needs of the organisation. To facilitate getting data from a variety of different sources in the right formats, maintaining data quality standards, and assuring that downstream users can get that data quickly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Shareholder return strategy by implementing the Division’s processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business score card.
- Participate in Business Processes to drive efficiency gains to ensure at least 5% reduction in Divisional budget year-on-year.
- Serve MTN UG’s customers and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
- Improve MTN UG’s Net Promoters Score.
- Develop, test and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Collaborate with other division units in demand management.
- Adhere to data management standards and policies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Education
- First degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years in Software Development and Data Science projects in large organizations.
- Experience with data governance and standards.
Training
- Data Science, Machine Learning, and Data Analysis.
- Big Data technologies and Data Warehousing.
