Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Trading Desk activities across a product portfolio and multiple markets to achieve P&L targets and revenue growth while maintaining risk standards.
- Own and leverage Trading Desk Data and Intellectual Property to improve performance and client centricity.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify trading opportunities and competitive positioning.
- Lead teams to align with SBG’s strategic goals, fostering decision-making and adaptability.
- Develop pricing strategies and risk management solutions for Market Making excellence.
- Drive digital product development, including pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with CIB’s risk policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop tailored trading strategies and market insights.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- A First Degree in quantitative studies, statistics, analytics, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of experience within trading.
- At least 5 years’ experience managing people and processes with advanced problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of trading techniques (hedging, derivatives, futures, swaps, etc.).
- Expert understanding of financial markets, economic drivers, and regulatory environments.
- Advanced risk management strategy expertise.
