About the Organisation
Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL) is a non-profit organization that started in 1993 with a mission of enhancing socio-economic transformation of disadvantaged young people (10-24 years) both in and out of school, through evidence based interventions that: advocate; create linkages to services and information; and encourage social and livelihood skills development for self-reliance.
Job Summary
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will lead data collection, analysis, and reporting for various youth-focused projects, ensuring quality implementation and learning throughout the project cycle.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement M&E frameworks, indicators, and tools
- Coordinate routine data collection and analysis
- Prepare quarterly and annual M&E reports
- Support operational research and documentation of best practices
- Conduct field visits to assess data quality and project performance
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making across teams
- Collaborate with partners including KCCA, Ministry of Health, Gender, labor and social development, Education
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Demography, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field
- Postgraduate training in M&E or project planning is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in M&E, preferably in NGO settings
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Excel)
