Job Summary ⇒ The Production Assistant - Workshop and Maintenance is
responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities for Uganda
Clays Limited. The role is accountable for performing its duties in a safe,
productive and cost-effective manner while maintaining compliance with health,
environmental and safe regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Contribute towards strategic & operational planning, ensuring that the
factory machinery supports accomplishment of production targets.
⇗ Ensure that Operation of machinery & vehicles are fully Maintained.
⇗ Designing and redesigning mechanical systems.
⇗ Ensure that Uganda Clays' quality and safety procedures are implemented in
the maintenance department at all times.
⇗ To lead the maintenance Team in a manner that empowers them to efficiently
produce correct standards and quantity of Products.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicant must hold a Degree in mechanical engineering
⇗ At least four years of experience in manufacturing companies.
⇗ Experience in team leadership
⇗ Good communication skills
⇗ Computer aided design skills
⇗ Good analytical skills
⇗ Good communication skills
⇗ Good analytical skills
⇗ Good knowledge in material science
