Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Support development and implementation of department work program and
budgets with respect to environmental aspects of project design, construction
and operations.
⇗ Coordinate development of the Company’s Environmental elements of the H3SE
MS to ensure compliance as per ISO 14001/ISO 50001 standard and
develop/implement the roadmap towards certification.
⇗ Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory
permits, licenses, authorizations and consents as well as company H3SE
standards.
⇗ Ensure inspections are conducted as a pro-active way to avoid incidents and
non-compliances.
⇗ Work with partners, national authorities and local authorities and relevant
organizations in managing environmental compliance across all company sites.
⇗ Ensure systematic implementation of ESMPs and prompt identification of
deviations, with appropriate mechanism to implement corrective actions as
required.
⇗ Ensure appropriate and consistent monitoring and reporting processes are
implemented.
⇗ Coordinate development of appropriate tools for auditing, inspection,
monitoring and reporting.
⇗ Act as affiliate’s Oil Spill Preparedness and Response coordinator.
⇗ Ensure timely acquisition and update of the environmental permits
associated with operations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The ideal candidate for the TOTAL Environment Operations Coordinator job
should hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Environmental
Management/Sustainability or in a related discipline
⇗ At least six years of professional experience in supporting operations
environmental management.
⇗ Experience in oil and gas industry is essential within project development
and execution.
⇗ Thorough knowledge of ISO 14001, H3SE MS with experience in system
development and implementation
⇗ Good knowledge and understanding of environmental legislation, good
international industry practice.
