About Humanity & Inclusion
Co-recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is an independent organization working in poverty, conflict, and disaster contexts. HI promotes inclusive services for vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities.
Project Background
HI is implementing a 4-year PROTECT SRHR project in West Nile, Uganda, aiming to improve sexual/reproductive health for 1.1M adolescents, youth, and women. HI leads disability inclusion efforts in this consortium-based initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
- Model HI’s values and coach team members.
- Organize operational management and resolve performance issues.
Operational Strategy
- Contribute to program strategy and draft project proposals.
Compliance & Monitoring
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies and donor rules.
- Monitor project indicators, evaluations, and learning processes.
Coordination & Communication
- Facilitate team coordination and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years in SRHR/GBV project management.
Desirable
- NGO experience; work with persons with disabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
