About Uganda Airlines

Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. It began flying in August 2019.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
• Valid instrument rating.
• Valid Class 1 medical certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
• Age not exceeding 60 years at time of joining.
• For nationals, 5000 hours Total Time including 2000 hours PIC time in jet aircraft or Multi Engine Turbo Propeller in commercial/passenger airline operations with all up weight of over 20,000 kgs
• For non-nationals, minimum of 5000 hours total flight time in multi-crew commercial operations of which1000 hours must be as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on CRJ 700/900/1000 type. Must hold a current Type Rating and valid Operator Proficiency Check (OPC)
