As Country Liaison Advisor in the African Centre for School Leadership (ACSL), you bring the broader picture of the pan-African hub on effective school leadership to the partners in the country and represent the country context towards the ACSL partners at the continental level.
Reporting to the ACSL Regional Coordinator based in Kenya, you will collaborate closely with pan-African as well as Country programme staff, and with other LIT-LEAD partners at both cross-country and in-country levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the ACSL towards current and future implementation partners in Uganda, ensuring alignment of the LIT programme with the partner country’s needs and context.
- Support setting up appropriate structures and working arrangements for smooth coordination among all partners involved in the LIT-LEAD programme in Uganda.
- Contribute to the school leadership mapping exercise to identify needs and opportunities in strengthening school leadership, focusing on policy development, professional development, research, and gender equity.
- Act as a connector between national and pan-African components, collaborating with the ACSL pan-African team to provide technical advice on effective school leadership.
- Support planning, implementation, and follow-up on project activities, including communication of updates and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
