About the Organisation

Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA) is a Statutory Government Agency established by the Free Zones (Amendment) Act 30 of 2024, and is responsible for the establishment, development, management, marketing, maintenance, supervision and control of Free Zones; the development, promotion and coordination of all export-related activities; and to provide for related matters.

Job Summary

To collect export market related cues and support management on exports and branding issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and disseminate guidelines on export marketing requirements and standards
Provide technical support to firms on marketing/branding of exports
Support online export readiness assessments
Prepare product profiles for exporters and business community
Undertake outreach to producer/manufacturer/exporter associations and other groupings

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Education

Honors Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business, Business Administration, Economics, IT/CS/Data Comms/IMS, Agricultural Economics or Agri-Business OR CIM professional qualification/membership
