Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Accountant Assistant to join our small but dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting our Finance and Operations Manager in various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting and possess a proactive mindset to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
- Prepare and process payroll information.
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Prepare bank deposits by compiling data from cashiers, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to banks.
- Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers.
- Reconcile records of bank transactions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related fields.
- Active Listening and Critical Thinking skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (specifically Zohoo) and CRM software.
- Language proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to calculate and prepare checks for utilities, taxes, and other payments.
- Experience in compiling budget data and documents.
