Be Energy Limited is an oil marketing company in Uganda with already existing successful affiliates under Be Energy Group with a presence in East and Central Africa through the marketing and supply of petroleum products through Kenya to Uganda, DRC, Burundi, South Sudan, and Rwanda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and programs to ensure effective management of human resources.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring timely and cost-effective hiring of suitable candidates.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new staff and equally manage the exit process for staff leaving the organization.
  • Develop and execute employee motivation strategies to improve productivity and performance.
  • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance and conduct reviews.
  • Manage employee training programs by identifying needs and developing skill-enhancement initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support and ensure overall well-being of employees.
  • Manage employee relations, mediate conflicts, and handle disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Administer employee benefits and related programs.
  • Implement engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment.
  • Serve as a bridge between employees and management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • At least 3 years of post-qualification HR experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
