Job Summary

SimplePay Capital is looking for motivated and goal-oriented individuals to join our team as Credit Officers to work as a loans officer or collections officer. In these roles, you will play an integral part in managing and expanding the loan portfolio, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring customer retention in line with company standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Collections Focus

• Track loan repayment schedules to ensure payments are made on time and in full.
• Proactively contact clients regarding upcoming or missed payments and negotiate repayment plans to avoid defaults.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients during the collections process, ensuring resolutions are amicable and non-intrusive.
• Manage the recovery of overdue loans, identify accounts at risk of default, and take appropriate actions to mitigate financial loss.
• Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and provide regular progress reports to management.
• Identify potential fraud risks or suspicious loan applications that may affect repayment of loan management.

Loan Processing & Customer Relations

• Attract new customers and cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to meet acquisition and retention targets.
• Review, assess, and process loan applications to ensure all documentation is provided and meets company standards.
• Disburse loans and monitor their progress, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide clear information about loan options, repayment schedules, and terms to ensure customer understanding.
• Conduct comprehensive Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks to verify loan eligibility and ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the loan process.
• Accurately document customer interactions and generate regular operational reports.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in business, finance, or a related field.
• Strong computer literacy and fluency in English (both written and verbal).
• Flexibility to relocate as required.
• Strong attention to detail and a target-driven approach.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
