About the Organisation
Pangea Educational Development (PANGEA) is a small non-profit organization that believes in the liberating power and opportunities provided by a quality education. Our model was developed to empower communities to improve their own educational circumstances: the school environment, livelihoods of teachers, and access for under-resourced students and to do so in a way that is sustainable. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitating Training: Deliver training and coaching activities that support the adoption of effective teaching practices for teachers, including but not limited to gender-responsive pedagogy and literacy skill development.
- Relationship and Ongoing Support: Establish supportive relationships with school administrators and teachers, providing consistent, ongoing guidance to ensure the integration of training practices.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and administer student, parent, and/or teacher research surveys and assessments.
- Reporting: Draft program reports for internal, partner, and external use.
- Addressing Diverse Learning Needs: Support learners with varied abilities and ensure inclusive teaching strategies are applied.
- Initial Assessments: Conduct initial evaluations to understand learners’ needs and progress.
- Role Modeling: Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for teaching, providing learners with honest feedback, guidance, and support.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education
An added advantage is holding a certificate in Primary Education or Early Childhood Development (ECD).

- Fluency in Lugbara, Arabic, Kakwa and Madi.
