Job Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, driving sales growth, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. The role includes managing branch staff, developing business strategies, monitoring performance, and ensuring profitability while upholding the company’s brand reputation in the local market.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Branch Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales, administration, service, and finance functions.
  • Monitor branch budgets, expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor branch staff.
  • Set individual and team performance goals and monitor progress.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and provide coaching for development.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales performance and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for the branch.
  • Develop and implement branch sales and marketing strategies to increase customer base and market share.
  • Identify business opportunities and build relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Handle escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
  • Build strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and repeat business.

Financial & Performance Reporting

  • Prepare and submit branch performance reports, including sales, expenses, and profitability analysis.
  • Monitor KPIs and initiate corrective actions to close performance gaps.
  • Provide regular feedback and recommendations to senior management on branch performance.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure branch compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational standards.
  • Manage risks related to operations, staff, and customer interactions.
  • Safeguard company assets and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in branch or operations management, preferably in the automotive, retail, or service industry.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and operational targets.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and make sound decisions.
