In Uganda, FH is operational in the Districts of Adjumani, Kitgum, Lamwo, Kole, Kween, Mbale, Namutumba and Amudat Districts implementing programs in four main sectors of Education; Food Security and Livelihoods; Health/Nutrition and Disaster Risk Reduction; with the Head office located in Kampala.
Job Summary
The Project Assistant (PA) will plan, administer, coordinate, and monitor all community level Child Engagement (sponsorship) and program activities, in line with the set performance targets.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Work, Agriculture, Nutrition, or related field.
- At least two years of post-graduation work experience in community development projects.
- Demonstrated ability in organizing and facilitating community groups.
- Experience in Participatory community development approaches; mobilization and capacity building.
- Knowledge of government strategies & policies.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, internet).
- Experience with child-focused NGOs is an added advantage.
