Key Duties and Responsibilities
Proposal development
- Take a hands-on role in developing, writing, editing, and formatting high-quality winning bids, particularly at the early stages of framework submissions
- Gain a deep understanding of potential clients’ needs, tender requirements, and business operations
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team in preparing written information on our experience, capabilities, and proposed project approach
- Ensure all proposals are proofread, meet tender programme requirements, and align with Forward Ever’s bid management standards
- Identify and engage with expert contributors and associates as necessary
Proposal management
- Work with team members to determine bid writing strategies, manage bid timetables, deadlines, and necessary meetings effectively to ensure timely compelling submissions
- Manage bid submission process as necessary
- Helping to maintain and improve our answer repository on an ongoing basis
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Skills
- Attention to detail and meticulous proofreading

- Good oral and written communication
- Assessment, planning, monitoring, reviewing and evaluation
- Information Technology
Experience
- Evidence of producing high standard written documents on a consistent and time sensitive basis
- Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and assimilate large volumes of information into comprehensive proposals
Desirable experience
- Previous experience in a consultancy, procurement, writing or similar role, with a proven track record of writing high quality bids
- Previous experience or understanding of the public sector procurement process, including open competition tenders, frameworks, etc.
