Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Area Coordinator, the Logistics Officer/Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for authorized Evidence Action personnel, materials, and goods, ensuring the seamless logistical support of Evidence Action’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

Logistical Support

• Drive Evidence Action vehicle(s) for transport of authorized passengers and goods
• Ensure timely attendance at pick-up locations and secure document delivery
• Maintain detailed records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition
• Support fuel receipt reviews and weekly work plan updates

Vehicle Care

• Conduct routine vehicle checks (cooling systems, oil levels, tire pressure)
• Adhere to scheduled maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with Road Safety Act and organizational policies
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and documentation (insurance, permits, logs)

Office Administration Support

• Assist in inventory record-keeping and office organization
• Support printing, scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks

Qualifications & Skills

• High school education/O’ Level Certificate (UCE)
• Valid driving permit (B/DL classes; DH class advantageous)
• Certificate in Defensive Driving; Motor Vehicle Mechanics preferred
• 4-5 years of accident-free driving experience (NGO background preferred)
• Knowledge of local road networks and safety regulations
• Proficiency in English and basic Microsoft Office
