Rikolto aims to contribute to the development of a dynamic, sustainable and inclusive agricultural sector with family farmers providing quality produce for own consumption and for diverse markets (national, regional and international markets).

Job Summary

Rikolto’s Global Support Team provides key advisory roles and shared services, including finance, monitoring & evaluation, people & organisation, ICT, communication, and fundraising. We are now seeking a Management Intern to support a project on staff workload management, providing practical learning while contributing to organizational improvement.

Purpose of the Post

To support the development of a Guideline on Workload Management for Rikolto, including gathering data, developing content, consulting colleagues, and designing a simple tool for implementation and monitoring.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gather and organize information from staff satisfaction surveys, structure assessments, and management discussions.
  • Develop content for the Workload Management Guideline, including concrete examples of challenges and solutions.
  • Consult relevant colleagues to fill gaps in information.
  • Develop a simple tool to implement and monitor workload reduction progress.
  • Contribute to analysis and reporting, supporting management decision-making.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Recently completed degree in HR Management, Management, Economics, or related field.

Skills

  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365; knowledge of Canva is a plus.
  • Analytical, solution-focused, and able to translate complex matters into clear, actionable guidelines.

Attitude

  • Curious, proactive, autonomous, and a quick learner.
